Yoga includes mental and physical health as well as, for some, spiritual aspects of their lives. For many of us, cranking out a ten-minute mile on a treadmill or pounding the floor of the racquetball court can mean major joint pain.
Different styles emphasize varying aspects of yoga. Yoga can be viewed as a breath of fresh air in this fast paced lifestyle that we live in. Make sure that you practice your poses correctly.
And this helps improve the functioning of our organs and our general health. Mentally connect with your class by looking each student in the eyes. As a Yoga teacher, your form might be very good, but you will still need to correct all student alignment problems when they arise.
So just sign up. No one expects you to transform overnight, so keep at it.
